Included is the game example and the source code. I was trying to make a point and click game in g develop and the project is at a stop point. I was able to get some really cool features such as:
looking around with your mouse
Skill points
picking up items that go to your inventory
some sweet backgrounds and GUI
Pop up messages that call from event layers (so nice)
A great save/load system that is simple to expand.
I tried to document it very well with the idea of selling it as a tutorial. I was unable to make it so items carried over correctly between levels. I have it set to read a variable to decide how many items are in the inventory in order to pick the slot, but this seems to break when players start using items and I am unsure why. To the point I had to just scrap the project out of frustration. I love this community and this website. I do this as a hobby. I am going to start work again on another project. I had lots of support on my watcher game, but sadly I just wasn't that good when making it and it got too messy to continue the code. I will likely give that source for free too.
